Nextage is proud to announce a clinical research and technological development collaboration with E.O. Galliera Hospital, in Genoa, Italy. The collaboration is about technical and clinical research activities on surgical waiting lists management (methods, software) and related resource management, with a particular emphasis on cost and resources optimization.
Activities will involve both Nextage people and Galliera technical and clinical staff in order to deploy a software solution for the management of surgical waiting lists fully compliant with the Surgical Waiting List management model (SWALIS). The model, developed at University of Genoa, Dept. of Communication Computer and System Sciences (DIST) and Dept. of Economics and quantitative methods (DiEM), has been also recognized by regional government as adequate and appropriate.
Nextage SurgiQ software solution will fully implement the model and will be validated and improved by clinical research activities concerning the assessment of SurgiQ on Galliera users base and the integration of novel algorithms for critical resource scheduling such as operating rooms.
